consultant in the Navy and later as a management consultant in the
private sector, much of my working life has been spent as a consultant.
Quite a bit of it entailed working with Harvey Bergholz of Jeslen
Corporation and you will find some articles by both of us in the listing
below. I worked at two small firms, started and ran two of my own, and
worked in association with a couple of large consulting firms. The articles below
were written primarily for independent consultants but their lessons are
